TCC (Brighton): Learn more about ALP, a model for accelerating students through non-credit coursework
The English and the TRS departments are collaborating on a pilot that
enables students to take developmental writing, TRS 105, while they are
concurrently enrolled in College Composition, ENG 101. Shortening the time
students are enrolled in non-credit coursework has met with positive results
nationally and shows early promise here at MCC. If you are interested in this
model and its implications for students and the College, faculty involved in
the Accelerated Learning Pilot (ALP) will be leading a discussion on
Wednesday, November 15th at noon in the Brighton Teaching and
Creativity Center (12-201).
