Cabbages and Kings: CCHA recognizes MCC Student Creative Writers and Cabbages and Kings
The national Community College Humanities Association (CCHA) has, in its
2017 Literary Magazine Competition, awarded MCC students Julia Palozzi
second-place, Eastern Region, for her poem "I Hope We Die," and Jeana Danae
Clocksin third-place, Eastern Region, for her creative non-fiction piece, "The
Weight of Memory." Both winning piece's appeared in Cabbages and Kings'
Literary and Visual Arts Magazine, 2017 Issue.
This level of recognition is a testament to the great creative writers,
editors, and fine literary and visual arts magazine that MCC is known for
producing. Congratulations!
