Deaf History Month Movie and Reception

Deaf History Month is celebrated nationwide from April 1 through 30. The World Languages and Cultures Department and the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences are proud to sponsor a movie and reception event that will take place today from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Monroe A at the MCC Brighton campus. The event will begin with appetizers and beverages that will be followed by the showing of the documentary, "Through Deaf Eyes". The film showcases experiences of deaf and hard-of-hearing people in the United States and some important milestones in Deaf America in the last two centuries.

Registration for this event is required. Please consider joining us and reserve your spot! Sign language interpreters will be provided and the film captioned. After registering for the event, you will receive parking instructions.
