Congratulations to Dana Voldan-Curry, MCC's New Assistant to the Provost/VP, Academic and Student Affairs!

Pending the MCC Board of Trustees’ approval on March 3, 2025, Dana Voldan-Curry will be appointed to the position of Assistant to the Provost and Vice President, Academic and Student Affairs. Dana is a talented and dedicated higher education professional with extensive experience in holistic academic advising, project management, and building collaborative partnerships across campus to drive student success and foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Prior to her appointment, Dana served as a School Specialist and Student Success Coach in Monroe Community College’s School of Social Sciences & Global Studies where she provided academic and career advising, fostered cross-departmental collaboration, and developed targeted student success initiatives.

With a strong background in admissions, student engagement, and program development, Dana has successfully led high-impact projects, including MCC’s partnership with Industry Residential Center, as well as those dedicated to professional learning and liberal arts curriculum development. Moreover, she actively contributes to institutional committees focused on reaccreditation, advising enhancement, and student retention.

Dana holds a Master of Science in Higher Education Student Affairs Administration from Nazareth College and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from SUNY Brockport.

I would like to thank the search committee, particularly its co-chairs—Kelsey Bright (Academic & Student Affairs) and Audrey Schafer (Nursing)—for their efforts in this process.

Please join me in congratulating Dana on her appointment as we look forward to her continued contributions to MCC’s success!
