Mindful Monday Event
The Counseling, Disability and Health Series Department will be hosting another Mindful Monday event today for Mental Health Awareness Month. Practicing mindfulness can significantly support mental health by helping individuals stay present, reduce stress, and manage overwhelming thoughts. Regular mindfulness practice has been shown to lower anxiety, improve mood, and increase emotional resilience, making it a powerful tool for overall mental well-being. There will be two events today that students can attend to learn ways of practicing mindfulness and its benefits. Please see below for details:
Gentle Yoga and Meditation Class
- 11am to 12pm
- Location: Dance Studio 10-143
Mindfulness Tabling Event
- 12:30pm to 2:30pm
- Make your own trail mix bar, mindfulness materials, giveaways and activities
- Location: Counseling & Disability Office 3-103
