Library Workshop for Students: Tips & Tricks for Citing Sources
Citations can be tricky, and students often feel unsure about how to keep track of sources or format citations correctly. MCC Libraries is offering Tips & Tricks for Citing Sources, a workshop that can make a real difference in their confidence and success. In this session, students will learn practical strategies for managing citations, using citation tools, and formatting sources—all skills they can apply immediately to make citation less stressful and more efficient.
Workshop Details:
- Date & Time: Wednesday, November 13, 12:00 to 12:50 p.m.
- Location: LeRoy V. Good Library (Brighton Campus), Room 423, or join via Zoom
This is a great opportunity for students to gain hands-on citation skills, and for those who need additional help, MCC librarians are available for online or in-person research help appointments or drop-in support at both campus libraries.
Please encourage your students to attend! They’ll benefit from this workshop whether for extra credit, as an assignment boost, or simply to strengthen their research skills. If you’d like a customized session directly in your class, let us know—we’re happy to bring these resources to you! Just fill out our online request form or email the MCC Libraries (libraries@monroecc.edu).
