On August 13th, Tony Falzano, an adjunct professor in the VAPA Department, presented “The Power of Music” to a group of individuals grieving the loss of a loved one. Falzano spoke on how music works as a healing agent for those going through this life-changing event. His presentation took place at Lifetime Care, a leading hospice organization, located on Winton Road. He has been invited back to facilitate their November 6th program entitled, “Healing Notes: Creative Approaches to Grief Resolution.” His topic will be on how writing can play an effective role in easing grief.
