Dr. Alexis Vogt, PhD, Associate Professor of Optics, Delivers Invited Talk at Optics Conference

At the Education and Training in Optics and Photonics Conference (ETOP) in Quebec City on May 23, Dr. Alexis Vogt delivered an invited talk titled, "Your precious engineers are being disabled. What can be done?" In her talk she detailed the worldwide shortage of optics technicians and the work being done in Monroe Community College's Optical Systems Technology program to train a highly skilled optics workforce.
