Chuck White reports that the Banner Finance team has had good success with their recent "pre-Go Live" testing. The group successfully has run over one hundred security and approval scenarios for the purchasing
process, has confirmed that payroll encumbrances and expenses are appropriately fed over to the Banner Finance system, and has achieved compliance with hundreds of Banner finance transactions (journal
entries, etc.) that were tested in the Banner system. Kudos to Chuck and his Finance team, and to Sherry Ralston and her HR team for their efforts.
The Finance team also is pilot testing its final Purchasing and Budget Inquiry training session and materials documentation this week. Chuck White notes that the training session schedules for end users will be
forthcoming from his office.
There are two remaining Banner general overview sessions scheduled for Brighton and DCC communities:
