MEN OF COLOR WEBINAR SERIES PRESENTS: THE STUDENT ATHLETE

Leadership transformation utilizing depiction and success coaching 

This webinar, presented by Dr. Derek Moore, Arkansas State University, focuses on leadership development through image and successful coaching. The webinar explores an in-depth analysis about student athletes of color and how we has professionals can help this group navigate their way through college successfully.  What are the issues that this particular group faces when they successful make or don’t make the grade as an athlete.  Do these students count on athletic scholarships in order to get through college financially.  How do they view academic learning from a stand point of graduating, becoming successful versus just getting by academically but become the all-star athlete who crosses the graduating line with a degree but not much more.  What are the expectation of these students and what are the expectations of the coaches, and other teaching faculty who have these students in their classes.
