IR Developing College-Wide Student Survey to Go Out Next Month

In order to decrease the number of surveys that students are sent, the IR Office is designing a college-wide survey that will be emailed to all students in early March.  Our goal is to learn about students’ educational and job status, educational and career goals, MCC experiences, and current needs. By administering a single college-wide survey, we hope to decrease “survey fatigue,” the tendency for students not to complete surveys because they receive too many of them.

Our goal is to make the college-wide survey comprehensive but concise so that students’ responses can be expository and help us develop a plan of action.

We will send the survey to currently enrolled students as well as those from last spring and this past fall. Incentives will be offered to increase our response rate.

If you have any survey questions you’d like us to include, please send them to Mary Ann M. DeMario (mdemario1@monroecc.edu) by February 28.

Students’ survey responses will have a significant impact on MCC’s present and future.  Thank you for your assistance in this important endeavor.
