Identity Theft Presentation: A Must Attend for All!

We all know someone who has, or have ourselves, been the victim of identity theft. Even if you are able to escape the fraudulent charges, it is still a MAJOR hassle! Join us for an informative financial literacy presentation entitled, Protecting Your Personal Information.

Identity theft is one of the most pervasive crimes in our nation. It impacts individuals from all walks of life and is typically carried out by a person that is known to the victim. Criminals are continually developing new ways of farming sensitive personal information to carry out their crimes. In this ever-changing landscape of electronic transactions and information sharing technology, it's vital that we continually learn what measures we need to take to remain safe. This class lays the groundwork for what we need to do to combat identity thieves.

This is a workshop you do not want to miss! The session is being presented by a Consumer Credit Counseling Services representative, and will be held in room 3-115 of the Brighton Campus on Wed. Oct 23rd at noon. Hope to see you there!
