TCC (Downtown): Learn more about ALP, a co-requisite model
The English and the TRS departments are collaborating on a pilot that enables students to take developmental writing, TRS 105, while they are concurrently enrolled in College Composition, ENG 101.
Shortening the time students are enrolled in non-credit coursework has met with positive results nationally and shows early promise here at MCC.
If you are interested in this model and its implications for students and the College, faculty involved in the Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) will be leading a discussion on the Downtown Campus (Room 450) during College Hour on Wednesday, November 29th.
