Classroom scheduling for Spring 2025
Welcome, new and returning faculty! Below is some helpful information in regards to classroom requests for the Brighton and Downtown campuses.
To request a classroom outside of your normal classroom assignment, please submit your request through Ad Astra. Faculty should use this form for situations when a computer lab, a large lecture hall, or a specific room is needed because their normal classroom assignment would not suffice. The easiest way to access this is through our myMCC portal.
For one-time room changes:
- Login to myMCC with your MCC email and password and click on the Employee Tools tile.
- Scroll to Room & Event Scheduling which will open Ad Astra.
- Click on One-time Academic room requests at Brighton & Downtown
- Choose Academic Classroom Request Form on the dropdown box and complete all required fields.
- Please be sure to include the full course information: CRN, Course, Subject, Section
For complete semester room changes, please submit a classroom change request.
- Login to myMCC with your MCC email and password and click on the Employee Tools tile.
- Scroll to Classroom change request (full-term)
- Faculty will receive an email confirmation within 24 to 48 business hours of their request.
- R&R will email your class roster so your students are aware of the classroom change
- Changes are based on room availability, and we cannot guarantee that options will be available, especially during prime-time hours.
