Cabbages & Kings Hosts Writing and Visual Art Workshop, "Curiouser & Curiouser: The Art of Imagination"

Mark your calendars! On Saturday, March 2, 2019, 10 AM to 3 PM, Cabbages&Kings, MCC's Literary and Visual Arts Magazine Student Organization will host "Curiouser & Curiouser: The Art of Imagination," a creative writing and graphic design workshop.

Attendees will ultimately produce their own creative work by receiving short presentations and guided art and design sessions and creative writing exercises offered by, respectively, professional grafitti artists and MCC alumni Carmelo "Melo" Ortiz and Vincent "Range" Zarate, and by acclaimed creative writers and MCC professors Angelique Stevens (creative non-fiction) and Elizabeth Johnston (poetry).

This event is free and open to the MCC community, but space is limited, so reserve your spot now (and by no later than Monday, February 25th) by emailing "RSVP" in the subject line to SUBMIT@CKMAG.ORG.

We hope to see you there!
