Beginning March 31, 2011, EBS-RMSCO, the plan administrator for MCC’s Flexible Spending plans, will start their conversion to a new record-keeping system called Lighthouse1. This will affect all employees who currently have a Flexible Spending Plan for medical expenses, dependent care, or parking and transportation expenses. Routine administrative functions such as payroll posting/deposits, run-out and/or grace period administration, and paper-form claim processing will not be interrupted by the conversion. However, online claims submission will be discontinued on the old website as of March 31, 2011 at 12:01 am EST. Participants can submit claims online using the new website effective April 4, 2011. Claims can be submitted on a paper claim form for processing during this period.
A communication from EBS will be mailed to all participants in mid-March explaining the conversion. The mailing will include information about the new website (and how to access a website tutorial), default login information, the new customer service email address, and claims processing advice for the end of March.
