Essential Discussion on Inclusive Higher Education to be Held Tomorrow

More than 200 participants (educators, students and others) have registered for Inclusive Higher Education: Inspiring Change from Within, the ninth event in MCC's series of Essential Discussions: Conversations at Monroe Community College. The Essential Discussions series explores topics that are shaping the postsecondary agenda.

Inspired by MCC faculty and staff, tomorrow's colloquium will explore how institutional structures and teaching practices influence the student experience. Together, participants will seek to understand, acknowledge, and value the richly varied demographics of our students, identify potential obstacles to their successes, and develop practical structures and strategies to positively impact learning.

The colloquium will be held in the Warshof Conference Center, R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center (Monroe A and B). Except for the afternoon interactive theater session, the presentation will be videostreamed to High Falls A at the Downtown Campus.
