** The Local Context: "Shifting Demographics and its Impact on Local Climate"

** Student Panel: "Why I Wear a Hijab" with Mariam Abusbeih, Haneen Al Ali, Saja Al Maliki

** Keynote Speaker Gazmend Kapllani, an Albanian-born novelist, journalist, and scholar currently teaching at Emerson College in Massachusetts. He lived in Athens for over twenty years and received his PhD in political science and history from Panteion University in Athens, with a dissertation on the image of Albanians in the Greek press and of Greeks in the Albanian press. His work centers on themes of migration, borders, totalitarianism, and how Balkan history has shaped public and private narratives. (www.asympototejournal.com <https://www.asympototejournal.com> )
