Reminder! John Striebich’s Legacy Lecture will be hosted today, Monday May 19th at 12PM in the Empire Room

The intent of the Carmen Powers Legacy Lecture Series is to share and preserve MCC’s collective professional and institutional wisdom. Individuals selected for this prestigious opportunity have had a long and distinguished career at MCC, is an outstanding teacher, mentor, advisor, leader to peers and students, and has a meaningful message to share with the College that will enrich the lives and work of MCC faculty, staff and students.

Professor John Striebich retired in December 2024 after 21 years as a full-time faculty member in the Business Administration Department. Dating back to his first employment with MCC in 1989, John served in a variety of roles, from Workforce Development to serving two terms as the Chair of the Business and Economics Department. He also served as Interim Chair of the Hospitality Department along the way.
