TCC: Empowering Our Classroom Through Engagement at MCC (Online Workshop, Today)

Kathleen D’Alfonso, an adjunct instructor for the Department of Anthropology, History, Political Science, and Sociology, is hosting a workshop addressing empowering our classrooms through engagement. Instructor D’Alfonso has been commended for her ability to drive student engagement in course content across MCC and UB campuses. Firstly, there will be a discussion about encouraging strong investment from the student community in the classroom. Secondly, the workshop will address ways instructors can use activities and supplemental resources to build motivation in their students. Throughout these conversations, tips for integrating technology to foster engagement will be highlighted.
