Child Care Center Gets Busy with Fall Activities!

Families recently enjoyed apple and pumpkin fun during their annual Fall Harvest Festival while checking out the “Character Book Pumpkins” the classrooms created. There were so many imaginative book characters, all created by the children! Continuing with the fall theme, the childcare center will be dressing up and participating in a costume parade on:

• Thursday, October 31st at 10:00am. The parade will go past Registration and Records, towards the library and food court then down to the atrium. We hope to see you there!

The Richard M Guon Child Care Center serves children from 6 weeks through 5 years old. Our mission is to promote the academic and/or career endeavors of our families by providing high quality childcare in a nurturing, secure environment, which is developmentally stimulating.  Parents can attend class, study and work without worrying about their child’s well-being.

The Child Care Center is a department of the MCC Association, Inc. and has ties to the Departments of Human Services, Education and Psychology at MCC.  We serve as a demonstration site for academic departments at MCC, and other colleges in the greater Rochester area, and as a benchmark for quality early care and education in our community.
