CSEA Vacation Exchange Request

The online CSEA Vacation Exchange application form will open on September 1, 2024 at 12:00am. 

To access the request form:

  • Sign in to MyMCC/Employee Home/Online Forms/Payroll/Vacation Exchange Request - CSEA

Eligible CSEA members are able to exchange up to 5 days of vacation leave time. To be eligible you must have 15 days in your vacation leave bank as of September 1, 2024. If the number of days requested exceeds the available days in your vacation bank at the time of payment - your request will not be honored. This is on a first come, first serve basis. The Vacation Exchange budget is capped at $75,000.

Submission of Requests: A request must be submitted via electronic form during the enrollment period (September 1 thru September 15). The vacation leave bank is not reduced at the time the employee requests the exchange. An employee's vacation leave bank will be reduced when payment is issued in the first pay in October by the number of days the employee exchanged.

  • Timing of Payment: Payment will be issued on the first pay date in October.
  • Rate of Pay: The vacation exchange payment rate is the employee's rate of pay on August 31 of the previous fiscal year
