Password Expiry

You may recall back in June when the College instituted our new 14-character password length requirement since our shorter passwords were no longer secure and it brought us into compliance with the current SUNY standard.

At that time, we noted that once everyone with an MCC network account had changed their password to the new standard length, that passwords would be set to expire annually instead of twice a year.

We have now reached that point!  If you log in to our Network Account Services page, on the Account Overview, you will see your password expiry date and time.

A best practice is to set a reminder in your calendar for around a week before that date/time to login and change your password to prevent from being locked out due to an expired password.
