Day of the week correction for Scholar Visits - March 20 and 25

Two scholars in residence at Cornell University will be visiting Professors Joe Scanlon and Rollo Fisher this month.  Both professors are opening their classrooms to the MCC community to listen and engage with these scholars.  

Thursday, March 20, 2025, 11 am to 12:15 pm:

  • Dr. Kyle Harvey, an assistant professor of Latin American History at Western Carolina University, will speak on "Workers and Provicial Officials in the Construction of the International Order - Argentina and Chile from 1840s to 1870s."
  • Building 6 Room 425 (International Politics with Joe Scanlon)

Tuesday, March 25, 2025, 9:30 to 10:45 am:

  • Dr. Abdul Haque Chang, Anthropologist from Institute of Business Administration, Karachi, Pakistan will talk about "Sufi and Sacred Music from Sindh, Pakistan."
  • Building 12 Room 209 (Music of Diverse Cultures with Rollo Fisher)
