This April MCC will host a meaningful collaboration between MCC’s Diversity Council, the Holocaust, Genocide and Human Rights Project and the PRISM Multicultural Center. The Week of Remembrance and Compassion will begin Monday, April 24- Friday, April 28, 2017. The Holocaust, Genocide and Human Rights Project will display the “I Told You, Now You Tell the World” Holocaust Survivor Portraits alongside the Tibetan Monks creation of a Mandala. The Monks will sand-paint a wheel of compassion mandala of Chenrezig (Avalokiteshvara), the Buddha of Compassion.
All members of the college community, including faculty who want to bring classes, are welcome to visit the Campus Center Atrium during the week. More details about the events throughout the week will be announced in the near future.
