April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month-- Join us for a program!
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. MCC honors victims, survivors, and allies by providing a variety of programming. Visit Deja Brew or the Cafeteria for themed coffee sleeves.
You may have noticed that there is a flag display directly in front of building one. The display is there to honor April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Every 68 seconds, someone in the US is sexually assaulted; that's 1,271 people every day. There are 1,271 flags to honor each person.
I hope that as you pass the flag disaplay you will consider how you can challenge a society that makes rape possible.
