As of 12/23/2013, employees will use the “Technology Services Support and Requests” link for all technology requests. ETS has streamlined an online system for employees to request services for technology to better meet the academic and business goals of the College. The “Technology Services Support and Requests” link will allow you to enter requests to fix technology that is broken or not working correctly (Incident) or to request a new process, program, or application (Change, Add, Delete). All in-process jobs will remain in the ETS Technology Request system (access via “My Technology Service Requests” Channel on the Tech Tab of myMCC).
You will see three links in the Technology Service Requests channel of myMCC.
1 – Technology Services Support and Requests: When you click on this link, you will see MCC’s FAQ, view incidents or ask questions. On the left hand side of the web page you will see two categories for technology requests (Incidents and Change Requests).
Incidents: This is the online system to our current Technology Support Desk for employees (aka Help Desk). Anything you would call the Technology Support Desk with you can submit an online request.
Change Requests: This is used for Banner Applications, Other Applications, Network, Systems, Telephone, or Web Development. A full list of categories is available online.
2 - Printing Services Requests: This online database is used to submit requests to the Print Shop. The types of requests include Print Work Orders and Business Card Orders.
3 - Run or Schedule a Banner Job: This online requests system is to request existing Banner Reports.
