Tech Tip: Technology Balance

Enjoy the holidays by appropriately using technology to enhance but not overtake the occasion.

  • Use technology to connect with family and friends separated by distance.
  • Create an online photo account for family to share holiday photos and videos to create a collective album.
  • Use a party planning app to help manage details of a holiday gathering.
  • Limit the amount of time you spend online.
  • Take breaks and walk away from the screen throughout the day.
  • Set notifications to prioritize which ones you receive. Low-value notifications can double your screen time.
