How to Prepare Your Benefit Elections for Open Enrollment
With very few changes to College benefit plans over the years, you most likely have not made many changes to your benefits and, some of you may not have completed an enrollment form since you were hired. This year the College Open Enrollment will be an active one. In other words, all full-time benefit eligible staff will need to formally enroll or decline benefits.
In implementing and going live with the Lawley PowerConnect benefits administration system by PlanSource, you will need to perform the one-time entry of your information (and for your dependents, if applicable). This process will not be necessary in the future.
A Benefit Enrollment Worksheet has been created to identify the information you will need to gather and facilitate your data entry as you make your benefit elections. If you are unable to find information and/or are having difficulty determining whether you currently carry a benefit and at what level of coverage, you may email the Human Resources Office (mcchrbenefits@monroecc.edu) or call (585) 292-2048.
Note: Some information cannot be shared electronically or over the telephone. Depending on the information requested, you may be instructed to go to the Human Resources Office and present photo ID to obtain it. HR staff members will be attending the informational Open Enrollment meetings and can either assist or advise you at that time.
