Brown Bag Sessions on Health Care: What is YOUR plan?

Changes are coming in 2011 for our health care plans.  Beginning in January, some co-pays will be eliminated for certain preventive services due to new regulations mandated by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

In addition, in 2011, over-the-counter medications will no longer be allowed to be claimed as a Flexible Spending item without a prescription from your doctor.

Employees will need to take these changes into account when signing up for their Flexible Spending accounts for 2011.

Three Brown Bag Sessions will be held by Martha Maher-Garcia and Karen Rheinheimer from the HR Office regarding Excellus Blue Pt. 2 Health Insurance Coverage:

Brighton Campus:
First Session:  Tuesday, October 12, 2010, in Monroe B - 12:00 – 12:50 (College Hour)
Second Session:  Wednesday, October 20, 2010, Room 8-200 - 12:00– 12:50 (College Hour)

DCC:
Tuesday, October 19, 2010, in the Community Room (Room 4193) 12:00 – 12:50 (College Hour)
Please RSVP to HR at Extension 2048.  Come and find out what’s in your plan!
