MCC Libraries Presents: "Tips & Tricks for Citing Sources" Student Workshop

Join us for the last installment of MCC Libraries' Spring 2024 Research Essentials Workshop Series, titled "Tips & Tricks for Citing Sources."

In this workshop, students will gain practical strategies for effectively incorporating citations in their assignments. They'll say goodbye to confusion as we demystify the process of tracking sources and formatting citations. Plus, they'll discover how to save time by using citation tools in library databases, among others.

Here are the workshop details: 

Online Session:

Date & Time: Tuesday, May 7, 3 to 3:50 p.m.
Location: Join May 7th Zoom Session

In Person Session:

Date & Time: Wednesday, May 8 from Noon to 12:50 p.m.
Location: LeRoy V. Good Library (Brighton Campus), Room 423

If your students can't make it to either workshop, tell them not to worry! Encourage them to stop by the Welcome Desk of the LeRoy V. Good Library (Bldg. 2) of the Brighton Campus or the Downtown Campus Learning Commons to chat with a librarian. They can also schedule an in-person or online research help appointment through our easy-to-use research help appointment form. 

Citing sources doesn't have to be painful. Encourage your students to attend this workshop and empower them with essential research skills!
