Congratulations to Cohort 2 Fellows for NYS Community College Leadership Academy

Please join me in congratulating Kim DeLardge and Denise Thomas for their selection for Cohort II of the NYS Community College Leadership Academy. This prestigious program is tailored specifically for community college leaders who are dedicated to advancing both their institutions and the broader field of education. The Academy's curriculum covers critical areas such as leadership roles in student success, maintaining a focus on students’ end goals, enhancing the student experience, leadership traits that drive change, managing and advancing institutional change, and fostering effective external partnerships.

Kim DeLardge serves as the Director of Student Services at our Downtown Campus, and Denise Thomas serves as the Senior Specialist, Budget. We are extremely proud of them and deeply grateful for the leadership and support they provide every day at our College.

Additionally, let us extend our congratulations to Kelsey Bright and Quent Rhodes for successfully completing Cohort I of the NYS Community College Leadership Academy Fellows Program. They were among 35 fellows from SUNY Community Colleges selected for this inaugural class, marking a significant achievement in their professional journeys.

Please join me in celebrating these outstanding individuals and their commitment to excellence in leadership and education. Their achievements reflect the high standards and dedication that make MCC a wonderful place to work and learn.
