Judy Wilson Presentation on Nursing Pedagogy with Paper Patients

Associate Professor Judy Wilson MSN RN recently presented a poster at the Quality and Safety in Education in Nursing International Forum in Denver, Colorado.  Judy reported on "Improving Understanding of Clinical Judgement Using Multiple Paper Patients".  By honing their analytical skills in a low-risk setting with inexpensive and diverse simulated paper patients, students are better prepared to excercise good judgement with real patients in their clinical rotations.  Ultimately, we all benefit knowing that well-trained MCC nurisng graduates will be able to assess, advocate for, and provide the best care to our community.
