Betsy has asked me to submit the following notice (again) regarding the upgrade to Banner 7.SOMETHING and the need to close down the system right after grades are due on 12/26. The blurb is a little lacking in pizzazz to the point of having NO pizzazz at all. The point is that we want everyone to know that unlike previous Christmas break periods; there will be no action on the student system during the break week. We won’t be able to input anything and students will not be able to access any information. We will be sending out grade reports based on all the information entered into the system by noon on 12/26. After that students will not have any updated information until Banner 7.SOMETHING has been installed, thoroughly tested and comes into being. Here is the announcement!
Just a reminder! The student information system (Banner) will be closed from noon on Tuesday, December 26th through 9AM on Sunday, December 31st. The college is upgrading our computer system. Grades, registration services and tuition payments will not be available during this period. If you have questions, the Registration & Records e-mail will be read periodically during the holiday break (HYPERLINK "mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org"email@example.com).
