If you are interested in a Flexible Spending Account, now is the time to enroll for a 2016 Flexible Spending Account (FSA). Don’t wait until the busy end of your semester and the rush of the holidays to enroll!
An FSA form must be completed each year to participate – deadline for the form is November 30th. Enrolling allows you to create an FSA for medical and/or child care expenses on a pre-tax basis as permitted by law. Current law permits a maximum of $2,550 for qualifying unreimbursed medical and dental expenses and a maximum of $5,000 for dependent child care expenses. Flyers are attached to explain the benefit of an FSA and how they work as well as a listing qualifying expenses.
