MCC Connection Day!

Greetings!

We have some exciting news to share with you. The Admitted Student Day event has undergone a name change and will now be called MCC Connection Day. This change was made because this year, we have decided to invite prospective students as well. We believe that by including prospective students, we can create a more inclusive and informative event.

Our events have always been successful, and we owe this success to the dedicated faculty and staff who help welcome our students to MCC. We would like to express our gratitude in advance for your dedication and collaboration.

MCC Connection Day, Saturday, June 8, 2024 10am to 1pm at the Brighton Campus:

  • 10:00 AM: Check-in Opens in front of Building 1 (under tents)
  • 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM: Academic and College Resource Fair at R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center (Atrium and Terrace)
  • 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM: Optional Campus & Residence Hall Tours at Market Place
  • 12:00 to 1:00 PM: Ice Cream Social with MCC Faculty, Staff, and Administration at R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center, North Dining

We would like to invite you to sign up for your department Connection Day Table at the Academic and College Resource Fair. Additionally, we encourage faculty, staff, and administration to participate in the Ice Cream Social from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. We would appreciate your help with scooping ice cream and mingling with our student guests.

Please note that all requests should be submitted by May 31st. Each table will have a black cover, but departments are encouraged to bring their own department table covers and materials.

During the Academic and College Resource Fair, we will have a Passport activity for the students to complete. This activity proved to be successful last year as it encouraged students to interact with the departments at the fair. Stamps will be provided for each table.
