Jasna Bogdanovska, Assistant Professor of Photography (VaPA), was Artist- in-residence at Gullkistan-center for creativity in Laugarvatn, Iceland. Together with six other artists and educators from Norway, Denmark, Ireland, the Philippines and the US, Jasna spent the month of August working on her new personal photography project, showing her work as well as collaborating with other artists.

During the trip, Bogdanovska was invited by Sissa Ólafsdóttir, the director of Ljósmyndaskólinn, the college of photography in Reykjavik to visit the school. Bogdanovska met with students and faculty and was a guest at the lecture of the American documentary photographer Mary Ellen Mark.
