Library Instruction for Spring 2020 Courses
Have you requested a library instruction session for Spring 2020? We can tailor instruction to your needs. MCC Librarians offer a variety of instructional sessions to help students develop their information-seeking skills. We offer the following types:
Introductory session - This 10-15 minute session in your classroom focuses on raising students' awareness of library resources (e.g., library databases, online course guides) and services (e.g., research appointments) relevant to your course.
Traditional library instruction session - A librarian provides hands-on instruction on search strategies, source evaluation, etc..
Follow-up research session - Taking place after an instruction session, a librarian assists students one-on-one or in small groups with their research.
You can sign up for one type or all three, depending on your needs.
