Fall Community Ingathering *RESCHEDULED*
Please be advised that the Fall Community Ingathering (details below) has been rescheduled until early November. Details will be shared via the Tribune before that time. Thank you to all who reached out. We are looking forward to hosting a purposeful event.
DETAILS:
This event is directly linked to the College's diversity plan to increase the yield and retention rates for students from diverse populations, specifically those who identify as Black or African American. The Ingathering is the first step toward supporting students academically, professionally, and socially to later provide coaching and leadership development opportunities.
Our hope is to create a community of scholars who will be more likely to successfully graduate from Monroe Community College. This initial exposure to faculty and staff will assist in establishing networks of support.
This event is invitation only and is geared towards first year students who identify as Black or African American. Be sure to check your email this week for additional details.
Sponsored by: Downtown Black Student Union, The African American Affinity Group, FYE at the Downtown Campus and Men of Excellence Program.
