Men's and Women's Lacrosse Update

I wanted to share some important news directly with our MCC community regarding our men's and women's lacrosse programs. We have decided to discontinue these programs after a comprehensive evaluation of the sport regionally and nationally. 

As the Director of Athletics, I am grateful for the incredible contributions and achievements of our men's and women's lacrosse programs over the years. They have a long history of excellence. Their success at the National Junior College level has been remarkable, and we have been proud to have them represent MCC in the lacrosse community.

Please know that we did not take the decision to discontinue these programs lightly. We carefully analyzed and deliberated over various factors impacting our lacrosse offerings. 

We will work closely with affected student-athletes and staff to assist in their transition during this time. Our goal is to explore opportunities for their continued success both athletically and academically.
