Adding Men's and Women's Cross Country

We are excited to announce the addition of men's and women's cross country teams at Monroe Community College, starting in the upcoming fall semester. This initiative not only broadens our athletic offerings but also provides local and regional cross-country student-athletes with opportunities to compete at a higher level.

With over 70 high school programs in Monroe County and Section V, this new addition will enable us to compete at the NJCAA Division III level in Region III. Our competition will include other NY state community colleges such as Clinton, Hudson Valley, Broome, Fulton-Montgomery, Finger Lakes, Corning, Erie, Tompkins Cortland, Onondaga, Jefferson, Herkimer, and Mohawk Valley.

The search for a head coach for both the men's and women's cross country teams will commence immediately. Interested candidates can view the Head Coach Position job post.

Prospective student-athletes interested in joining MCC's cross country teams are encouraged to complete the Prospective Student-Athlete Form.

Details regarding tryouts and practice schedules will be announced closer to the beginning of the semester.
