Tickets are on sale now at Food For thought for the Mindful Lunch!
MCC’s own Renee Dimino and Terry Shamblin will guide you through a reflective dining experience, as you enjoy a healthy, vegetarian menu created and prepared by the students of the FSA 108 Healthy Cooking class. Menu items include a Top-Your-Own Black Bean Burger Bar, House-made breads and spreads, Asian Zoodles, Cranberry Orange Bars and more! This event is sponsored by the Wellness Council as part of the Wellness Passport, and is open to all MCC employees.
What is Mindful Eating? Mindful Eating is about focusing on the dining experience while you eat, including the textures and the flavors of the delicious food. Dining in a non-distracting environment allows everyone to savor every bite of their meal and to consider their food choices while they eat.
The lunch is on Friday, October 25, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Food For Thought (building 3 room 146). Tickets are $5 and are on sale at Food For Thought through Thursday, October 24. Tickets can be purchased Monday through Thursday, between 11:30a.m.to 1:00p.m.
Seating is limited so get your tickets early. We look forward to seeing you there.
