Eileen Radigan, an instructor in Human Services, was interviewed on WXXI News about the importance of MCC’s new Direct Disabilities Support certificate program. The interview was broadcast on Jan. 6.
In addition, information about the program appeared on TWC News (formerly YNN Rochester) and in the Democrat and Chronicle.
The certificate program, the only one of its kind in Monroe County, was developed in collaboration with area community agencies and employers to fill a critical demand for entry-level professionals who are equipped to work with people with disabilities. The program provides incumbent workers and job seekers with the education and field experience needed for immediate employment or career advancement.
