2018 Historical Black College and University (HBCU) College Fair
On October 24, 2018 the 2018 Historical Black College and University (HBCU) College Fair was held at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. This event, hosted by the United Negro College Fund, Rochester HBCU, Rochester City School District and the City of Rochester welcomed over 1500 students from Monroe County, Buffalo and Syracuse. Several Monroe Community College employees assisted with the event to recruit students and discuss the value of attending MCC including our many support programs. On-site admissions and financial aid conversations also took place. Special thanks to The Men of Excellence who participated in the event, talking to the young males of color about the strong support they will receive at MCC, along with how to join the program once they become an MCC student.
