Halloween Spooktacular Event
- Monday, October 28th, 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Downtown Campus High Falls A/B
Join Campus Activities Board for a day full of Halloween Fun including a costume contest, escape room, food and more!
Spooktober Fest
- Monday, October 28th, 12:00 to 2:00 pm, Brighton Campus Center Monroe A/B
Join Phi Theta Kappa and other clubs and organizations for a fun spooky event! Enjoy games, free food, and giveaways (including Keurig, gift cards, and merch). Get 5 tickets upon entry and 3 more for every fried you bring!
Visiting Fiction Writer, Vauhini Vara
- Wednesday, October 30th, 12:00 to 1:00 pm, Brighton Campus Forum 3-130
Vauhini Vara is a journalist, editor, novelist, short story writer, essayist, and playwright who lives in Colorado. Her debut novel, “The Immortal King Rao” (Norton,2022), was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, was shortlisted for the National Book Critics’ Circle’s John Leonard Prize and the Center for Fiction’s First Novel Prize, and won the Colorado Book Award. It is being adapted for television and has been published around the English-speaking world, including in India, where it won the Atta Galatta Bangalore Literature Festival Book Prize and the Times of India AutHer Award.
Spooky Soiree
- Thursday, October 31st, 5:30 to 8:30 pm, Brighton Campus Center Monroe A/B
Join Pride Alliance, Tabletop Club, and Cabbages & Kings for a spooky soiree fundraiser. Entry fee of $5.00 which includes mocktails, snacks, costume contest, and a showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show. Partial proceeds of the event will be donated to the Trevor Project Organization.
Other News:
- Officers from Phi Theta Kappa will be traveling to Utica, NY for the PTK NY Regional Honors Conference. Here they will have workshops on their Honors Research topic: The Power of Stories.
