REQUIRED SAFETY TRAINING FOR NEW EMPLOYEES

REMINDER: SAFETY TRAINING IS REQUIRED OF ALL NEW EMPLOYEES.

As required by OSHA, all new employees are required to attend safety training regarding fire safety and emergency evacuation, hazard communication and injury/incident reporting.

Employees who were hired after February 29th, 2017 and have not completed "New Employee Safety Training" in Blackboard are required to attend one of the sessions listed below OR must complete the training in Blackboard by October 6th.

Employees with potential workplace exposure to blood are additionally required to receive training in Bloodborne Pathogens. This training will occur during the last 30 minutes of the 90 minutes training session.

Two sessions were conducted last week at the Brighton Campus. Four additional sessions will be conducted as follows:

DOWNTOWN CAMPUS - ROOM 520

Date: Wednesday, Sept. 20th Time: 12:00 - 1:30 PM

Date: Wednesday, Sept. 20th Time: 2:00 - 3:30 PM

BRIGHTON CAMPUS - ROOM 520

Date: Friday, Sept. 29th Time: 12:00 - 1:30 PM

Date: Tuesday, Oct. 3rd Time: 12:00-1:30 PM
