AAWCC: GO RED in Your Own Fashion on Friday, February 2!

Rochester embraces the GO RED for women campaign that focuses on heart disease. According to the Democrat and Chronicle article “Heart disease awareness focus of ‘Go Red’ campaign:

“the number of businesses that encourage their employees to wear red on the first Friday in February, this Friday, has increased to about 70 in the Rochester area. Also, the number of sites that will turn on red lights at night for the next couple of weeks has grown from just High Falls to now include the First Federal building, the Riverside Convention Center and the Blue Cross Arena at the Community War Memorial.” See the whole article at:

The American Association of Women in Community Colleges MCC chapter is also supporting this campaign. So, wear red tomorrow and join us for a GO RED noon photograph in the Campus Center atrium on the Brighton Campus, on the fifth floor at Damon City Campus or contact Margie Scahill at PSTF for the location.
