See this year's MCC Favorite Poem Video Project Readers on the Web!

As part of MCC's activities for National Poetry Month this April, students, faculty and staff were asked to complete the line “Words Work…” and then read the poem that best illustrated their message.

Many of you have already seen readings playing on TVs around campus, and now you can view them on the Web as well by clicking on the link below. Each reading can be viewed individually, or they can be watched together as one continuous video clip.

"We were delighted, surprised, and challenged by their readings, and hope you will enjoy watching them as well."

"One should only ask poetry to do what it excels at... remind[ing] us of the truths about life and human nature that we knew all along but forgot somehow because they weren't yet in memorable language... reveal[ing] to us many things that only a poem knows..."
