"Imagining the Possibilities" with United Way

We’re in the second week of the 2024 MCC United Way Campaign.

By donating to the United Way, you will help countless individuals within the Rochester community achieve possibilities.

Imagine the possibilities with United Way through Elizabeth’s success story below:

“Elizabeth knew that it was important to read to her children and play games to improve their learning, but she struggled to read and didn’t know what to play with her little ones to help them grow.”

‘“I didn’t have anybody to talk to.  I had no resources,’ said Elizabeth.”

“I was doing everything on my own as-a-parent.  I didn’t know where to go or what to do.”

“Then Elizabeth found the -Parents-as Teachers program.  Through this Community Fund partner program, she was connected with Kathy, a parent educator who gave her the encouragement, support and information about child development that she needed to help her children learn and be healthy.  Kathy helped Elizabeth go back to school to improve her own reading skills.”

“Elizabeth said, ‘It brings a smile to my face that people can help.’”

Elizabeth achieved the possibility of learning to read through United Way Community Fund partnership program with the help of your donations.

On Tuesday, March 26th, you should have received an e-Pledge email from epledge@unitedwayrocflx.org to complete your financial pledge.  If you’re unable to locate this email, please access the United Way Channel in myMCC to complete your United Way e-Pledge today.

Thank you for donating to United Way.
