Advisement Checklist for Continuing Students 

This checklist highlights important topics to cover during an advising session and can be found in MyMCC, Advisor Essentials, Trainings and Additional Resources, Advisement Checklist for Continuing Students 

Registration Instructions  

Students can register on their own by clicking on the Registration tile in MyMCC (student view) - Register, Drop or Withdraw Classes – Register, Drop or Withdraw. You can find detailed instructions that can be shared with students on the Registration & Records Webpage, Help & Resources, How to Register for Classes. They can also view the “How to Videos” on the Registration tile in MyMCC.  

If a student has questions or concerns about registration, you can refer them to the Registration & Records office.  

Students may also visit the advising center for assistance with registration after meeting with their assigned advisor.

Note: Students should tell the advising center that they have already met with their advisor and they only need help registering for courses.
